Aucuparia' is a conical-shaped deciduous tree, with foliage that is mid- to rich green in colour but turns a deep red to yellow colour in the autumn. It produces sprays of tiny white flowers that smother the tree in late spring, which are then followed by bunches of red berries in autumn.
Sorbus trees need to be grown in moderately fertile, humus-rich soil. Tolerant of atmospheric pollution and dry conditions. Can be planted in exposed or shelter areas and needs full sun to partial shade.
