A Loganberry is best known as a hybrid between blackberry and raspberry. The loganberry is a thornless variety from the original. It bears firm juicy fruit with a superb flavour and has a long cropping season which starts from July. It is perfect to use for dessert, freezing and culinary use.
Loganberries need fertile neutral well drained soil to crop well (pH of 5.0-6.5 is ideal) and they like to be in a full sun position.
